Super affordable makeup haul! W7 from East End Cosmetics

Some of you may already know that I buy almost all my drugstore makeup from East End Cosmetics. I'm familiar with most of the brands they sell, but one brand I didn't recognize was W7. I had never even heard of it before, which I thought was strange... I mean, I've heard of most makeup brands even if I haven't tried them.

Anyway, I was on the hunt for a good mascara, and I decided to try their Flirty Eyes mascara, mostly because it's cheap but also because I really like the packaging. So, I bought it, tried it, and guess what? It's the best mascara I've ever tried! And I've tried a lot of mascaras... I've pretty much tried everything from Dior's and Lancôme's best sellers to Maybelline Great Lash. And let me tell you, this beats Diorshow in a heartbeat.

I've used the W7 Flirty Eyes mascara almost every time I've done my makeup since January. During this time, I got more and more interested in the brand, and I recently decided to try some more of their products. I placed an order with East End Cosmetics last week, and the package arrived yesterday. I haven't had the time to try all of the products yet, but I thought I'd show you what I got:

Doesn't this remind you of Benefit's Dandelion? ;)

This reminds me of Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Radiant Blush, although the packaging is different...

W7 Matte Shadow Perfection in Caramel (left) and Tawny (right) (£1.34 each)

Tawny (right) happens to be a perfect dupe for MAC's Omega, which I always use to fill in my brows

Compared to MAC eyeshadows, these W7 ones are huge! 1.5g vs 3.5g

Both Caramel and Tawny are very well pigmented. However, only Tawny is completely matte. Caramel has a slight sheen to it. Not that I mind, but I thought I'd mention it since they are supposed to be matte.

This glitter gel is amazing! It's so sparkly and pretty, easy to apply, and surprisingly enough it's rub proof. Once it has dried, the glitter is not going anywhere. Also, the tube contains a very generous amount of product: 12g (approx. 0.4oz). Let's just say that I won't run out of this any time soon ;)

The primer appears white but goes on very sheer

I do have a little complaint about this order - I ordered the Celebrity Secrets Eye Palette in 02 (brown shadows), but they sent me 01 (gray shadows). I've sent them an email about it, and I hope they'll send me the right product as soon as possible. Naturally, I want the palette I ordered and paid for. This looks really nice as well though, don't you think?

I bought this makeup at: http://www.eastendcosmetics.co.uk
♥ Delivery within the UK is £1.95
♥ Delivery within Europe is £2.70
♥ Delivery to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is £3.99 (approx. 6 USD)

Review: Calvin Klein Intense Eyeshadow in Brown Velvet

Brown Velvet is the first makeup product I ever tried by Calvin Klein. I've been a fan of their perfumes for years, but didn't know about their makeup until quite recently. Being the makeup junkie that I am, of course I had to try it...

So far, I have tried two different makeup products by Calvin Klein - their Electric Edge Liquid Eyeliner Pen, and this eyeshadow, and I really like both of them!

I didn't really have high expectations for this eyeshadow, because I hadn't heard anyone talk about it, but I must say that I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of it. Brown Velvet is definitely one of the most pigmented eyeshadows I own, and I love the colour! I'm a big fan of neutrals... if you have watched my videos on youtube, you'll know how much I love my UD Naked palette, for example. And this eyeshadow is just as good as the eyeshadows in that palette. However, Calvin Klein eyeshadows are a lot cheaper than the ones Urban Decay, which is always a plus ;)

This is one of my favourite ways to wear Brown Velvet:

I'm wearing Modelette by Mac on my lid, and Brown Velvet in my crease

Also, the packaging of this eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous! All in all, this is a great eyeshadow. I honestly can't find anything wrong with it; it's incredibly well pigmented and easy to work with, the packaging is beautiful, and, compared to other eyeshadows of the same quality, it's not expensive at all. I paid £2.99 for mine, and I bought it online, at eastendcosmetics.co.uk. I haven't seen Calvin Klein makeup in stores here in Sweden, but I do believe that it's sold in some stores in the US.

More products from East End Cosmetics!

Translation: In the last entry, I mentioned my Another East End Cosmetics Haul! video, so I just thought I'd show you guys a couple of pictures of the makeup I ordered from them this time. I'll post reviews of these products as soon as I've tried them all out ;)

As you can see, I got the following products:

Nyx Chrome Eye Shadows

Translation: I got two parcels yesterday, containing makeup that I ordered from East End Cosmetics. I'll write about all the products once I've tried them, but today I'm gonna focus on the seven loose eye shadows by NYX. I've heard so many good things about NYX that I just had to try some of their products, and since it's rather difficult to get hold of NYX products here in Sweden I bought them online. East End Cosmetics send their parcels from England, but the shipping is so cheap (£2.70) that it's cheaper to order from them than from Swedish web shops such as Nelly (who also sells NYX). In addition to that, I got the eye shadows for a very good price, £2.99 each, which I think is absolutely brilliant!

In the picture below you'll see the eye shadows that I bought, plus their names. Further down you'll find two pictures of me wearing Fuschia in my crease and a little bit of Ocean blue on my lid. I haven't had the time to try them all yet, but I couldn't be more happy with these two! They are finely milled, very pigmented and easy to blend. Do you like my eye makeup?
